Introduction

"Pedometer Walk" provides a simple app to let records the number of steps you have walked and displays them again along with the number of calories that you have burned, distance, walking time and speed.

It is easy to use. Once you gave all permission & all you have to do is hold your smartphone as you always do and walk. Of course, it will continue to automatically record your steps even if you put it in your pocket or bag.

If you choose to have Pedometer-Walk integrate with Google Fit, the app will have access only to Google Fit Physical Activity data to get the Step count, fitness body data to get body measurements and fitness location to get Speed and distance covered data. The data read from Google Fit api is used solely for visualizing your data within the app. It is not collected or disclosed outside of your local installation of the app.

• When you using our service, there need to provide your related information such as Active Energy, Height, and Weight Information will be stored when using our service.
• Techathalon doesn't send/upload any to 3rd party services as data stays on your phone app and Google Server..

What permissions Pedometer-Walk Application uses and why?

•  We use Email It uses email of user for keeping user updated for their steps and calories so they can have their data within app and outside app.
•  We use WIFI It uses network call request to access Internet Services to provide the content
•  We use Storage It uses permission permission to read and write data from your mobile devices
•  We use get accounts It uses permisson for getting the user information of device
•  We use Google Fit It uses permission for getting app communicate with the google fit store to access and share this data within our app.
•  We are fetching Contacts It uses contact from device to invite the other people to our app.
•  While inviting we upload invited contact on server to check if invited person is already an app user and also we store this contact on server to check if invited person is invited repeatedly or not

What information we receive about your usage?

In short, using Pedometer app doesn't disclose any of your information. We don't collect, store or send any information about you or your usage Except the contact details.

We Store user Email address to Techathalon server for Login purpose.

We Store the google fit step count to Shared storage and on App mainActivity we store or pass the data to the Techathalon server to So that user can get data from any other device
